Awe-Struck Books (ebook), ISBN: 1-928670-01-6
Older man meets younger woman. They feel an instant attraction. However, the older man decides that he is too old for the younger woman and tries to hold her at arm's length. Entertaining romantic chaos usually ensues.

Usually.

In More Than Friends, single mother Callie Watson meets the father of the friend providing Callie a place to live. Matt Diamond -- tall, dark and devastatingly good looking -- smiles once, and Callie immediately falls for him like the proverbial ton of bricks.

Alas, all is not smooth sailing for Callie and Matt. Matt refuses to admit that he cares for Callie, and his daughter Bev objects to her father dating her friend. Then Callie's former lover (and the father of her child) decides to come back into their lives after deserting them five years earlier.

Unfortunately, More Than Friends' slow pace and by-the-numbers plot drag out what could have been an interesting story. Cardboard characters and an all too pat conclusion combine to submerge the story. More Than Friends needed just that -- more.
